SomervilleSoles is always looking for new models. Are you over eighteen, a resident of the Boston area, female, and interested in showing off your feet and legs? Contact us! No experience is required, and we promise it will be an interesting experience at the very least.

Shoots primarily take the form of casually-clothed sitting and lying poses, with an emphasis on close-up shots and the occasional full-length body picture. The typical shoot runs for an hour to an hour and a half. You're welcome to bring along an escort, and we usually have a female staffer on hand as well.

We keep everything on the site PG-13 or less. There's no nudity required, and the occasional swimsuit or opaque lingerie set is the exception rather than the rule.

We're based out of Union Square in Somerville, along the 87 bus line. During summer and fall, outdoor shoots in the neighborhood are a possibility. While it's nice and gives us more to work with, you don't need to show your face in a shoot.

Due to the photographer's schedule, shoots are generally done on weeknights Tuesdays through Thursdays, Sunday evenings, and during the day on the second weekend of each month.

Dress can be jeans with the cuffs rolled up, skirts/dresses, athletic gear, swimwear, etc. The important thing is that your feet and ankles are relatively free to move. A fresh pedicure would be muchly appreciated, but barring that, bare nails or neat polish will do; just not chipped.

As a non-profit site with no advertising, we typically don't pay for shoots, but are happy to trade for prints. Models receive untagged edited copies of all final images used on the site, and are free to use these for whatever they want. Use them in your portfolio, post them on other sites, or even sell them. Since we're non-profit, we also take no financial interest in the finished product.
